3 Useful Drop Down Menu FL Studio Tips
In this post we check out a short from Thirteen Tecc that reveals 3 useful FL Studio tips. These tips may not make your beats sound better, but they will help your DAW management and beatmaking workflow.
All of these tips are accessed from FL’s drop-down menus and may not be familiar to all. So let’s break them down.
- Tip 1: To free up CPU processing and help your DAW handle more plugins go to tools and under macros select purge unused audio clips. This will get rid of any audio tracks that are not being used. To do the same for any unused plugins while still in the macro menu select Switch smart disable for all plugins.
- Tip 2: If you played a killer melody on your playlist but didn’t have record engaged simply go to tools and select Dump score log to selected pattern and select 2 mins (or how ever long ago you played the part) to get the midi in your piano roll.
- Tip 3: In order to never lose another FL Studio project again go to options and under your File settings select regularly (every 5 minutes). Your computer will now make regular backups of your projects.
