Bedroom Producers Blog has released BPB Dirty Spring<\/a><\/span>! Dirty Spring is a free spring reverb plugin with which has controls such as pre-delay, and even a bitcrusher!<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Dirty Spring is a plugin with the user experience in mind. BPB’s is simple to use design is sound’s good right out of the box, reports KVR<\/em><\/a><\/span><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Decay and Tone knobs allow us to manipulate the character of the spring reverb, and we can preview the output sound with the onboard “Kick” button which simulates kicking\/hitting a hardware spring<\/a><\/span><\/strong> delay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That bitcrushing feature we mentioned? Well, we can control that via the “Dirt” knob (dry\/wet) which controls the balance between the original signal and one of the six presets we can choose from, which range from subtle to OTT! Examples of elements that may benefit from bitcrushed reverb are the likes of sampled drums for an 8-bit sampler effect! The use of a short “Decay” setting, and playing around with the “Mix” knob, will allow you to turn the bitcrushed signal is just a subtle lo-fi layer too. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

If that’s not taking your fancy, you could crank up the “Decay” and enjoy the sound of an extremely lo-fi spring reverb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Placing a bitcrusher on reverb isn\u2019t everyone\u2019s cup of tea, so the feature is completely bypassed by default. However, I love crunchy-sounding spring reverbs, and I highly recommend giving this feature a try.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

BPB Dirty Spring is free to download and use, and is comes in VST2, VST3, AU, and AAX plugin formats for DAWs on both Windows and macOS. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
