Mas Effects has released Sona Fuzz, a fuzz pedal with a simple interface and some awesome limited edition launch colours, reports gearnews.com<\/span><\/em><\/a>.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Sona Fuzz<\/a><\/span><\/strong> offers us a pretty simple interface with only three-knob to control the fuzz effect. These controls include Fuzz<\/strong>, Volume<\/strong>, and Tone <\/strong>knobs. Included too is a mini-toggle Body<\/strong> switch which isn\u2019t labelled on the pedal, but adds thickness to the fuzz if your heart desires.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

An internal Fuzz Ceiling<\/strong> circuit trim pot allows us to set the amount of fuzz via the interfaces knobs, so for extreme fuzziness… this is where you want to be. But the trim pot also allows us to tame the fuzz to our desired taste if you don’t want an in-your-face sound. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

As well as the Fuzz Ceiling trim pot, there is an internal bias<\/strong> trim pot which gives us control over how much splat <\/em>and splutters <\/em>the output fuzz has.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For hassle-free performance, the pedal features a nice soft-touch<\/strong> footswitch which we can set to latching<\/em>. So, we can add dashes of fuzz to your tone as you depress it to spice things up. But we just can set it up as an on\/off switch <\/strong>for simplicity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sona Fuzz also features top-mounted jack plugs for relay switching (true bypass<\/strong><\/strong>), which needs an external 9V power supply with a 19mA draw.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can grab the Sona Fuzz in some limited launch colours for no extra cash than the retail price of the standard models. These limited edition colours include Sparkle<\/strong>, Sunshine<\/strong> or a silver knob <\/strong>option. The standard colour option is Natural<\/strong>, and all variations have the same graphic on the front.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
