The smart: limit feature set starts with monitoring tools for loudness and dynamics. There, “Instant Impact Prediction” allows you to avoid restarting the loudness measurements every time you manipulate a parameter. The changes will be reflected in real-time without you having to play the entire input signal again!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Smart: limit’s \u201cintelligent limiter logic\u201d, as named by Sonible, uses profiles based on genres to identify the correct limiting approach<\/a><\/span><\/strong>. You can also input your desired amount of limiting<\/a><\/span><\/strong>. Thre are also different limiter characteristics available to you, and you can import a reference track too. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The onboard tools for quality checking give you interactive tips in regard to which limiter parameters should be optimized before publishing the track!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are also four more tools for fine-tuning the sound even further. The Style<\/strong> parameter dictates how aggressively the plug-in will handle your audio. Saturation<\/strong> increases the loudness as well as density of the output signal without actually changing the signals peak level. Balance<\/strong> improves the spectral balance, and the frequency-selective bass control optimizes the low end of the frequency spectrum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
