Bitwig just flipped the script on their usual behaviour, and instead of dropping a new beta by surprise, they’ve announced the Studio 6 Beta. We don’t yet have a download link or changelog, just an image and a date of August 27th.

Studio 6 Tease: What we can see

In the teaser image we can clearly see some signalling toward some interface changes:

  • A new deep gray theme in the arranger
  • Some subtle text/UI tweaks—including what looks like a fresh “paperclip” icon style
  • Slight changes to automation lanes
