The latest version of Collective ships with 928 presets crafted for industry leading sound designers. The flexibility of these sounds come in the form of bansuri flutes, all the way to to floor-rattling reese basses, making the library extremely versatile. And the factory sounds? They’re curated by veteran sample architect Klaus Peter Rausch, who’s worked with Korg, Yamaha, Alesis and more.
Samples meet synthesis
Collective gives you the ability to layer sample playback with its full synthesis engine. Think virtual analog oscillators, 4-operator FM, filters, envelopes, LFOs, and full curated FX suite—all in one space. Load real-world samples, then transform them into unique sounds with full synthesis power beneath.
Interface
The GUI gets a refresh in v2 – a clean, sleek look – along with a smarter workflow. There are also some performance touches like a new Master FX panel for shaping your sounds and integrated MIDI Learn for controllers. Sound exploration just got easier.
Impulse control
Collective 2 comes with an IR Loader, unlocking more creative potential. You can infuse your sounds with the sound of iconic real-world environments and the sonic character of old and vintage hardware. You can do this on a per-layer basis, or across the entire patch, putting you in charge of your sound.
