LALAL.AI just release their first VST plugin, which brings their brand of AI-powers stem separation directly into you DAW.

LALAL.AI has previously only been available as a browser based tool – but now you can do this directly inside your production sessions, without the needs to export files or jump between platforms/windows. Currently the plugin supports track separation into vocals and instrumental, with a model that provides multi-stem splitting for six separate instruments currently in the works.

The plugin runs a local model, keeping workflows fast and focused. It’s currently available in VST3 (with AU in beta) for macOS, Windows, and Linux. Access requires a LALAL.AI Pro subscription.

Another clear sign of the times that AI tool are making their way into everyday music production workflows.
