You may want to use a compressor for a multitude of reasons &#8211; some of which we&#8217;ll explore once you understand the various parameters available to you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What is dynamic range?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The dynamic range of a signal is the difference in dB between the quietest and loudest parts.
