As it turns out, quite a few! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With that in mind, here\u2019s a top 10 list of classic hip-hop beats that were crafted in half an hour or less.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1. &#8220;Big Pimpin\u2019&#8221; \u2013 JAY-Z (Produced by Timbaland)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-4-3 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"JAY-Z - Big Pimpin&#039; ft. Comprising of some fairly basic string sample chops lifted from a Monk Harris cover of &#8220;I Believe to my Soul&#8221; DJ Mustard&#8217;s thought process was, what would it sound like if Lil Jon was in the studio with Dr.Dre. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">4. &#8220;A Milli&#8221; \u2013 Lil Wayne (Produced by Bangladesh)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Lil Wayne - A Milli\" width=\"720\" height=\"405\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/1Vf4mMCpNY0?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>One of the quickest conceived beats on the list, Dirty South prod. Bangladesh claims to have made A Milli in About 10 minutes. The beat revolves around a simple syncopated vocal sample chop over some 808-infused trap drums so it&#8217;s not exactly Mozart but that doesn&#8217;t stop it from destroying dancefloors every time it drops.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">5. &#8220;The Story of O.J.&#8221; \u2013 JAY-Z (Produced by No I.D.)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"JAY-Z - The Story of O.J.\" width=\"720\" height=\"405\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/RM7lw0Ovzq0?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>While the exact timings on this one are a little sketchy producer No I.D. has gone on record to say this beat practically fell out of his sampler. Metro Boomin has gone on record to say this beat came together in <strong>less than 15 minutes<\/strong>.
