Modules will only appear on screen when add them to a patch via the drag-and-drop system. This leaves the UI feeling modern and sleek, but expandable and scalable when your patches become more complex. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">&#8220;Photoshop for Synthesis&#8221;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>There has been a massive overhaul of the oscillator systems. Zebra 3 adds a unified, vector-based spline editor for oscillator waveforms and MSEG (Multi-Stage Envelope Generator) curves. You can sculpt custom waveforms by hand-drawing Bezier curves along a timeline, allowing the synth\u2019s four oscillators to seamlessly morph between them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once you draw your curves, you can render them through Zebra 3\u2019s new additive engine (handling up to 1024 partials, including inharmonic ones) or as classic wavetables with up to 16x unison.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Physical Modelling Meets Deep Analog<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Whilst always being a hybrid beast, Zebra 3 brings even more to the table. Along with the wavetable and additive engines, you also get:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Physical Modelling:<\/strong> New modal resonators and comb filters paired with Noise and Exciter modules allow you to authentically recreate the acoustic properties of real-world objects (think bowing, plucking, and striking).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Vector &amp; Scan Mixers:<\/strong> Dynamically blend up to four sound sources using an XY pad, or scan through them sequentially for evolving textures.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Expanded Filters: <\/strong>13 distinct filter models (including Ladder, Cascade, and SVF) offering up to 105 potential responses.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Advanced FM:<\/strong> Two-operator FM oscillators that now feature an audio input acting as a third operator, complete with through-zero FM capabilities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Unrivalled Modulation &amp; New Effects<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Zebra 3 has gone all in on what made it predecessor famous: unrivalled modular routing. You get four ADSR envelopes, four LFOs, and four MSEGs. Mod Math modules are included for combining and transforming signals, and Mappers that can act as step sequencers or drawable transfer curves for your modulation sources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Now onto effects&#8230; and boy are we spoilt! The global FX grid is loaded with reverbs, delays, equalisers, and distortions.
