In a press release<\/a>, Universal Audio announced an asset purchase agreement of Townsend Labs Inc, a software developer and microphone manufacturer, and the company behind the  TEC award-winning Sphere L22 Microphone System.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Using it’s own proprietary microphone modelling technology, the Sphere L22 accurately models a large array of sought-after mic sounds. It gives producers the ability to audition a selection of different mic types and polar patterns, even in post-production. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
