Waves announced a brand new plugin – Curves Equator, but what is it, and how can it help your mixes? Join us as we take a dive into the plugin!

What is Curves Equator?

Curves Equator was designed to balance and enhance audio by attenuating resonances and controlling frequency build-ups. It works by creating a threshold curve that determines which frequencies are processed. The plugin offers two modes: Adaptive for significant modifications and Captured for fine-tuning based on a portion of the track. It helps make room in the mix by cutting conflicting frequencies and provides tools for sidechain processing. This leads to clearer, more open mixes with improved resonance control.
