Inside of the latest Logic Pro update (Mac & iPad), we see the introduction of a significant new feature called ‘Flashback Capture’ which enables you to recover audio or MIDI performances, even if you forget to hit the record button. If you jammed over some looped sections, each pass will be recorded as its own take. The update is especially valuable for musicians who often jam spontaneously. All you need to do is hold down a capture button for a few seconds and hey presto, your work is magically saved!
