The Behringer JN-80: A modern take on the classic Juno 60
This latest addition to the Behringer analogue keyboard line up is the brand new JN-80 – a full-size polyphonic synthesizer that’s goal is to bring the classic Juno-inspired sound to your studio, the moderner performance workflows and flexibility.
The JN-80 is built on an eight-voice polyphonic engine, driven by discrete oscillators and legendary 3109 low-pass filter design. This give it a distinctive, rich, warm tone that can do everything from lush pads to full-on leads. Of course, we have to mention the built-in multi stage BBD chorus, which added depth, colour and movement, a trope of the original Juno unit.
Kicking off the performance features, we have front-and-center the 49-note keyboard with velocity and poly aftertouch. It also has a powerful arpeggiator along with full MIDI support, so you can seamlessly integrate with your DAW or external controllers. Straight out of the box it comes with hundreds of onboard presets and a huge array of modulation options, giving you some great starting points from day one.
If you’re looking for a synth that brings vintage vibes, or you want to push into new sonic realms, the JN-80 is a compelling choice tat blend authentic analogue sounds with modern workflows. All of this at a price point that makes it accessible for many!
The JN-80 is available for USD $569.00 directly from the Behringer website.
