The XLR-1/4” combo input on the front is directly wired to a Midas microphone preamp which offers a maximum of 60 dB in gain increase. The monitoring section of the UV1 includes a headphone output and a level knob. The mix knob even allows you to blend the direct input signal and USB playback signals for zero-latency monitoring.
