Waves Clarity Vx and Vx Pro: Say Bye to Background Noise
Get ready for the next two plugins by Waves that are here to rid your vocal recordings of unwanted background noise.
Waves Clarity Vx and Vx Pro
Clarity Vx is a plugin for those looking for a quick and easy solution. Clarity Vx Pro, on the other hand, is for those looking for deeper processing. Both Clarity Vx and Clarity Vx Pro make use “Waves Neural Networks” AI to clean up your vocals with minimal effort.
Whether it’s your voice-over, dialogue, interview, or vocal recording that needs a cleanup, these two new tools by Waves are for you. Removing unwanted background noise has long been a burden for podcast producers and music producers. But now Waves have developed a tool that makes this process as easy as possible.
Waves say that both Clarity Vx and Clarity Vx Pro use neural networks to operate. From detecting, identifying, and separating your voice and any background noise that may be in your recording. But the real win here, Waves claim, is that the plugins do all of this without leaving behind any unwanted artefacts!
De-Noising With AI
Waves state that they trained the neural networks present in these plugins using thousands of hours of material. On top of these hours, Waves engineers further refined the results of the machine learning process.
There are two algorithms inside each of these plugins, and they both serve different purposes. Broad 1 is an algorithm made for recordings where more than one voice is featured. However, Broad 2 is an algorithm for recordings with background noises that are more stubborn than others. It can separate the main voice from secondary voices in the background, making the main voice the only voice in the recording.
Waves designed Clarity Vx for ease of use. Making use of only one control, it’s the version to use if you’re looking for a tool to help you clean up both podcasts and voice-over recordings as simply as possible.
But Clarity Vx Pro has more parameters that you can tweak. Furthermore, Vx Pro has a visualizer that presents your signal in real-time with great detail. Vx Pro also has multi-band processing with four frequency bands that you can process individually. On top of this, Clarity Vx Pro has a Reflections control for preserving natural ambience and the option of removing the voice and only keeping the ambience instead.
Price and Combatibility
Both Clarity Vx and Vx Pro are now available for macOS 10.14.6 + and Windows 10+ . They’re both available in VST3, AU, and AAX formats. For a limited time, you can get Clarity Vx for $29.99 with the code CREATE40.
The regular price, however, is $149. Clarity Vx Pro is now available for $249 with the same code. Its regular price will be $799.
