What is Faster Master

Faster Master will analyse your track and provide 10 custom-tailored presets that serve as your starting point. Choose one that fits best, then tweak your settings to make it fit your sound. All the adjustments you make are level-matched, so you’re never fooled by volume differences; the impact of your tweaks can be realised.

Key Features

  • Quickstart – Start by loading Faster Master at the very end of your mastering chain. Hit play on your tracks loudest section and click ‘Analyse’
  • Smart Presets – Smart Presets analyse your track and give you 10 tailored options. Flip through for inspiration or dive in with genre presets and custom references.
  • Match Reference Tracks – Match the sonic profile of your favourite tracks and compare your mastered track to the reference track.
  • EQ – All your EQ adjustments are level-matched in real time, using pristine filters that minimise phase distortion and transient smearing.
  • TRANSIENTS – The transient mode will enable you to boost or reduce punch by dragging up or down – again, all level-matched in real time so you only hear the effect of the transient processing without being influenced by a change in loudness.
  • COMPRESS – Adjust the amount of Compression to taste, and the thresholds and other parameters will adapt automatically based on your chosen setting: Off, Light, Dynamic, or Tight. The low-cut sidechain can remove sub-bass from the detection signal, preventing loud kicks and bass from causing unwanted pumping. Again, all level-matched.
  • STEREO – Shape the width of your track across four frequency ranges (low-end, low-mid, high-mid, high-end) while preserving audio integrity and avoiding phase issues.
  • LIMIT – Set your preferred maximum loudness and this limiter will do the rest… Add drive for more perceived loudness, set your ceiling, and enable true peak limiting if desired.
  • LOCK – Locking a module keeps the settings unchanged when switching presets.
