For fans of The Interruptors original Bionic Delay, this new iteration of the plugin keeps the design philosophy of the original by keeping the UI uncluttered, straightforward and easy to use, but also packs in a bunch of handy-dandy new features to boot. Specialising in vintage and modern-day delay effects.

Bionic Delay 2 combines its simple UI for the main delay parameters with a character dial that allows you to easily select the sounds of analog or digital delay units in any condition between brand new and extreme Lo-Fi.

Features

  • Delay Time Selection (Note Values): Select half notes, 8th notes, 16th, 32th notes, plus triplet and dotted notes via the FINE controls. These are synchronised to your host/DAW tempo.
  • Delay Time Selection (ms): Time selection in milliseconds for delay times up to 3 seconds.
  • L/R Split Delay: Set separate delay times for the left and right channels.
  • Ping Pong: Ping Pong delay setting.
  • Swing: Create a swing time feel by applying a longer (or shorter) delay time to every second delay iteration
  • Character: the Character dial will give you the ability to morph the delay sound between classic bionic delay, clean digital and Lo-Fi analog or crushed digital tones. Turn the delay time to zero to use the Character function for standalone effects like tape degradation and digital crushing.
  • Modulation: Pitch and phase variations are possible by modulating the delay time, simulating tape transport inaccuracies like wow and flutter.
  • Chorus/Flange: Create Chorus or Flange effects by using extremely small delay times.
  • Stereo: Width and Balance parameters give you full control of the stereo field.
  • Freeze: Capture the delay in a static endless loop.
  • Smooth: For gradual delay time change.
  • Filters: Hi-Cut and Lo-Cut controls progressively narrow the frequency bandwidth of consecutive delays.
  • Drift: Allows you to send more feedback to the left or right channel, resulting in delays that continuously wander to the left or right.
