With working from home becoming a more adopted work option, audio quality has become ever more important for those that once sat in an office (and those that didn’t). From video calls to enjoying both podcasts and music alike, good quality audio is in high demand.

We all know that when we’re in the zone – we get stuff done. It’s even easier to get into our zone when we have great quality audio pumping into our ears.

That’s why Technics are releasing their two new wireless earbud pairs, the EAH-AZ60 & the EAH-AZ40.

With the flagship of the duo being the EAH-AZ60, this pair of earbuds pack 8mm drivers and also offers active noise-cancellation that use both feedforward and feedback noise-cancelling methods. As well as these ultra-cool features, the EAH-AZ60 earbuds also support LDAC!

For those unaware, LDAC is a codec that allows for the transmission of high fidelity audio which was developed by Sony.

Technics state that LDAC, in this instance, supports transfers of 24-bit / 96kHz audio. That’s some powerful stuff.

Despite their smaller 6mm drivers, the EAH-AZ40 earbuds, on the other hand, offer an Acoustic Control Chamber and Harmoniser to maximise the audio quality.

With 6 microphones, call quality in the AZ40 has not been compromised in comparison to the AZ60 earbuds.

As well as the dope earbuds, you will also get seven pairs of ear tips for the AZ60 and four pairs with the AZ40 buds! Coming in various sizes to fit ears of any size. But the perks don’t stop there! The Technics Audio Connect App allows you to control the earbuds directly on both iOS and Android. No expense has been spared with usability as both pairs offer access to Apple & Android voice assistants by tapping the left earbud.

Both pairs of earbuds support Bluetooth 5.2 and also have an IPX4 splash-proof rating, which is the minimum rating you want to look for should you take a Bluetooth speaker in your shower for example.

Not only this, but these wireless beasts pick up voices better during calls due to JustMyVoice technology, as well as accommodating for those times when we don’t need our hyper-focus on with Natural Ambient/Attention mode.

Should you want to hear your surroundings for a little or long while, Natural Ambient mode allows you to hear the environment around you for better awareness on the move.

And if you need to hear when other people are speaking to you, even if you just want to zone out, Attention mode make the buds emphasise the frequencies of the human voice.

The AZ60s will be available in both silver and black & priced at £199/$229 tax not included.

The EAH-AZ40s are available in silver, black and rose gold, available at a lower price p[point of £129/$149 tax not included.
